Painter and multimedia artist Samuel L. Dunson, Jr., will give a talk on Wednesday, February 14, at 3:30 about his work on view in Actions Affirmed, an exhibition in the Upper Traylor Gallery featuring paintings, wall hangings, and hand-made sculptural forms that attempt to make sense of the current social climate in which, as Dunson says, “institutions thought to be rock solid have been systematically dismantled and liberties that were once respected are now viewed as extreme.”

Refreshments and snacks will be available after the talk. This event is free and open to the public. No RSVP necessary.
