Artist Talk with Marika Christofides

Visiting artist Marika Christofides will give an artist talk coinciding with the opening reception for Marika Christofides: Life Cycles at 4:30 on Wednesday, October 23, in the Lower Traylor Gallery. Christofides works in multiple media – printmaking, collage, and more – to create installations and other works featuring abstracted creatures that investigate, as she says, “ideas of identity, embodiment, and reproductive labor through a feminist lens.”

This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments and snacks will be available after the talk. No RSVP necessary.
