The Berea College Art Collection is composed of over 16,000 artworks and artifacts that span roughly 5,000 years of human artistic creation. Below, you will find a selection of collection “highlights” with research and interpretation provided by Berea College students. We rely on the these highlights and our online database to ensure the accessibility of our vast collection to our wide audience. Since we have a limited exhibition space, these virtual records allow us to further fulfill our mission of enriching the study and scholarship of art.

To view more objects from the collection, visit our online database.

Currently, about 25% of our vast collection is accessible through the online database, and more object records are being shared to this invaluable platform each week. However, these records may be incomplete – if you notice an error or would like to provide additional information on an artwork, please reach out to us at dulmanngalleries@berea.edu.
