The Doris Ulmann Galleries were established in 1935 with the bequest of over 3,000 photographs by Doris Ulmann. Since that time, the collection has grown to over 16,000 artworks and artifacts that span over 5,000 years of human creativity and represent a wide variety of cultures from all over the world.
Our Mission: The Doris Ulmann Galleries educate, inspire, and challenge the broader Berea College community by showcasing high-quality art exhibitions and by interpreting and preserving the culturally significant Berea College Art Collection.
